Therapy that honours your full complexity.

Alchemy Counselling & Psychotherapy was founded on a simple truth: healing is not linear, and no two people's paths are the same. We bring a depth-oriented, evidence-based approach that integrates the science of the nervous system with the wisdom of the whole person.

Whether you are navigating relationship ruptures, recovering from trauma, or searching for a more authentic way of living, this is a space built for real transformation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected or simply ready for something to change, therapy can help. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from it. Many people come to therapy simply because they want to understand themselves better.
What happens during the first session?
Your first session is a chance to share what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and to get a sense of how we work together. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. We go at your pace.
Do I need to know what I want to work on?
No. Many people come to therapy with a general sense that something isn't working, without being able to name exactly what it is. That is completely fine. Part of the process is discovering that together.
How do I choose the right therapist?
A good therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes. If you're unsure, reach out and we can help you find the right fit. It's also okay to try a session and see how it feels before committing.
Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes. We offer secure virtual therapy for clients throughout Canada where clinically appropriate. Virtual sessions are the same quality of care as in-person, without the commute.
How much does therapy cost?
Individual sessions with Tanya are $150 (45 min) or $170 (60 min). Couples and family sessions with Tanya are $200 (45 min) or $250 (60 min). Individual sessions with Fola are $125 (45 min) or $145 (60 min), with limited sliding-scale options available. See our full fee schedule above.
Does my benefits plan cover therapy?
We accept most extended health benefit plans and IFHP. We recommend confirming your coverage with your provider before your first appointment. Receipts are provided for all sessions.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in therapy is confidential. There are limited exceptions required by law, such as when there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, which your therapist will explain clearly at the start of treatment.
What if my therapist isn't the right fit?
It is completely okay if the fit isn't right. We would rather you tell us than continue feeling unsupported. We will always do our best to connect you with someone better suited to your needs, within or outside of Alchemy.
Do you offer evening appointments?
We try to accommodate a range of scheduling needs, including some evening availability. Please reach out to discuss what works for you and we will do our best to find a suitable time.

In an emergency: If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are at immediate risk of harm, please contact emergency services (911), go to your nearest emergency department, or call the Saskatchewan crisis line at 1-800-667-5005. Online messaging is not monitored in real time and is not appropriate for emergencies.

You don't have to
figure it out alone.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, a major life transition, or simply feeling ready for something to change, therapy can be a place to begin. Reach out and we will find a time that works for you, with no pressure and no obligation.
